To Drown In Condensation

by Ben Pickard   Dec 26, 2017

have condensed on your mouth
one too many times,
but the precipitation has never
been enough to drown you -

Now -

I will fill that luscious canyon
between your lips with rivulets that run
the gauntlet of your poisonous gullet,
washing every synthetic melody
you ever uttered

This really has a different feel Ben. Your word choice here is wonderful and they surely did nicely to give this a chilling effect.

Ooh. I can feel the bitterness here Ben. This is almost chilling with the wrath it oozes! Just brilliant :-) x

I'm not great at free verse, Craig, but I enjoy trying to change things up a little. Thank you.

Oh my goodness Ben you always write fantastic stuff but this is one of my favourites in a while on here and by you. Your words, your imagery are perfect as ever made me emotional and all goosebumpy
