My body is a work of art
not one that's perfect
one that's intruiging,
it goes unnoticed
and it's all mine.

I have damaged it
through years of:
'comfort' eating
crying over 'spilt milk'
and generally
trying to 'survive'

my have I survived;

      I have a bad habit of leeching off Mel's comments, but sometimes she just expresses what I'm feeling so much better than I can. This truly is an amazing write, Sweet Em. Embrace and love your battle scars, you are a warrior!! <3

    An inspirational peace. You have survived much conflict in your life but are still here. I like that you compared your body to a work of art. Your body is like the diary of your life full of memories of the way you lived your life getting more full of detail the older you get. I think that no matter how rocky the road you travel, the older you get the more beautiful you become. Best wishes Milly x
