As the Songbird Sings (Senryu String)

by Maple Tree   Jan 1, 2018

Crystal ice adorns
blankets of snowy sapplings
a new dawn, new year.

Snow prints form pathways
marking memories of you
your wings flutter; still.

Balding and precious
beautiful sunrise begins
as the songbird sings.
