Yesterday I went shopping.
I needed to buy some make-up.
I had so many spots I needed to cover.

First I went to the "interest" section.
I did have some interests I needed to cover...

I found another boy in that compartment.
Boys wear make-up as well!

"Why?" I asked.
"I like writing and reading dark stories."

I nodded.

Then I went to the masks' section.
There were two masks;
The happy and the sad one.

I went and took a happy one.

There, I found a girl.

"Why?" I asked.
"I don't want to worry my friends"

I nodded.

I also found a girl buying the sad mask.

So once again.

"Why?" I asked.

She shrugged.

I nodded.

I can't judge or advise others
When I use make-up myself.

Don't wead the mask to conceal the real you. Wear it while you're trying to be happy. I wore that mask aswell, and I know we have a lot in common regarding this. Find the reason that makes you want to wear the mask. Improve yourself. Throw the mask away. You'll know you're happy when one day, you'll think of how you're sometimes smiling without a reason, or you're cheerful, humming songs etc. I know you can make it, because I feel like I did. It might take months, maybe years, but you'll make it. I'm certain you've already completed some steps by yourself, too. Just remember - you are not alone in this.

An interesting view on make up as a means to cover so much more than a face. I liked that you mentioned boys and girls can wear makeup. In an ideal world we should be able to wear what we like. The message overall was a good one that we shouldn't judge others when we are guilty of the same action. Well done on presenting an important message. Best wishes Milly x
