Needed you

by DamonRay   Feb 3, 2018

I needed you but you never cared to need me.
An only son thrown to the side for a beer to drink.
Born fatherless but had one there daily.
Yet in your eyes I was nothing.
Ended up being a person to blame, becoming a punching bag for your anger swings.
You never cared to see the damage you was making.
A fatherless father I became unhappily.
Don't get it twisted or confused I love my daughter with my everything.
But tell me how am I to raise a child when no one raised me??
I needed you but you never cared to need me...
