Awesome write Ben! I was a bit creeped out, it was like the end of times out there.

Thank you, Brenda. It's actually an older poem that I tweaked and reposted.

I liked it Ben. I imagine waking up to that and feeling the weird atmosphere. I felt it.

Superb. You have captured all that is odd and silent in a cold crisp morning when the world hasn't begun to wake. All my best wishes Milly x

Ah I really like this, it made my mind create images that made me honestly smile. A deep breath kind of words. Thank you for sharing :)

Michael, thank you so much and for forgiving me enough to read after the negativity I brought to this special site.

Beautiful work! Felt like I was on a nature walk on cool crisp morning, its a wonderful nature scene that you have painted with your words. Excellent write!

such vivid imagery. I love a crisp morning walk. It reminds me of robert frost

I didn't write this with Frost in mind, but I do love his work, so maybe on a subconscious level, I channelled the great man! Thank you.

Hi Ben I'm glad you revisited this piece and posted it again... I'm going to try and analyse it as best I can because I'm going stir crazy trying to distract myself from having my grandads funeral on Wednesday anyhow..

Title: I love this title especially as it raises the question of "what exactly did the badger find strange" although like all your writes we seemingly find out which is always exciting.

I was going to break it down into bits but my minds not on it so apologies on that one. The content and imagery is as evef, fantastic.

Fantastically rhymed and thought provoking as ever.

    All the best
Em x apparently I've liked this and am too lazy to go through all the comments so not sure if I've commented.

I was very sorry to hear about your grandad, Em, and things like that put all this writing nonsense into perspective, so thank you for taking the time and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

      Take care

  • Very beautiful make you feel like your really there you have a vivid imagination which make you a great writer never lose it
