Your Silence

by Mortal Utopia   Feb 10, 2018

Your smile opens like a harpist’s hands -
dancing through whispers among strands
of songs and tears, of rain and shine,
toward the melodies enshrined

in silence (such lonely silence).

Sometimes your smile tumbles like rain -
enclosed in tears, shielded from pain.
It would always fall in silence
like a storm in an awkward trance.

“Please, can anybody hear me?”
