Winter

by Mortal Utopia   Feb 22, 2018

Today, the cold shine of winter
is as radiant as the silver shine of the moon -
engulfed and soothed by the warmth of the sun.

Today, the cold tears of winter freezes
into light that glitter as snow -
dancing, smiling, gliding in the small hands of the wind.

Today, the warmth of voices fly by
like birds to nest in our smiles -
wings fluttering like the whispers of our hearts.

What a beautiful piece I liked in particular the last stanza "Today the warmth of voices fly by Like birds to nest in our smiles, wings fluttering like the whispers of our hearts" that was magical. Best wishes Milly x
