Remove the signs and shut up shop
Dismantle my pride, just take the lot
I lived the dream for just a short while
Now there it lays in a messy pile

All the work that now means naught
The remnants just an afterthought
A memory box from when I was winning
Whilst I ignored the bells that were ringing

A broken heart's collateral damage
Resulting in this ruin and ravage
All packed away with bitter regret
The aftermath of a disastrous duet.

    A broken relationship hurts as long as we tie ourselves to it. If we let it go we don't feel that weight upon our heart. I only wish for the best things to come your way. And one more thing do not stop expressing yourself through your words. Take care, dear friend.

    Miss Kitty, it's hard to look at the carnage of a broken relationship and not feel helpless and defeated. Hold your head high, you did all you could and then some. The best is yet to come and it will come, I promise you that. Right now your highs are the highest and the lows are the lowest but that's not forever. Just keep moving forward and those highs and lows will even out. Hugs my friend-

    Kitty, you know how sorry I am that things have ended this way for you and I am aware what a difficult time in your life this is. All I can really suggest is that you just try and hold on to the good times and be thankful you had them. Little bloody help, I know....
    I would 'like' this poem, but i refuse to press that button, despite its fine rhymes. I don't like it simply because it deals with such a sad time in your life.I hope you understand my point.
