Eternal Highway

by DarkLight   Feb 28, 2018

The south winds blow to the west

hoping to find that what man has yet to destroy,

what if by following a certain path

the impossible occurs

and no one is there to witness.

Even nature has learnt how to share,

sun will heat the oceans and seas

taking little of the waters

and put it back in form of rain.

There is a call

and it only rings during the nights,

I hear it,

but not once have I ever answered.

Maybe I should, maybe I shouldn’t,

afraid death has my number.
