Disconsolate

by Em (marmite)   Mar 3, 2018

I look at the 'unknown' woman that stares me in the eye
my lip starts trembling as my whole body lets out a sigh
angry tears roll down my reddening cheeks once more
for though I'm healthier, I'm much sadder than before
those things they use to call me still rouse my little head
even after all these years make me wish that I was dead

    Em,

A powerful piece, with a real sadness. Don't let words get you down :)
    Much love
