Blind

by Tony   Mar 7, 2018

We are just shadows on the wall
In the scheme of the grand design
All just longing to be seen
In this world of the blind

Stumbling though a life
We don't begin to understand
Grasping desperately in our fall
But yet can seem to find no hand

For though we fumble together
Across unknown cobbled stones
We ignore the plight of our neighbors
And so are ultimately alone

The blind must lead the blind
As redundant as that seems
For it is only through one another
That we can truly learn to see

Tony, the truth - as sad as it often is - in your work and the insight you so often display (the last stanza here) is always a pleasure to read...as difficult as it is to accept sometimes.

    Take care
