Head of the Line

by Timothy   Mar 15, 2018

Time moves forward,
There is never a reprieve;
People jump off early,
The remaining grieve.

The temple starts to crumple,
Snowy becomes the mountaintop;
The perception gets a bit muddled,
The brain gets cropped.

Your "crowd" becomes smaller,
Your family starts to decline;
You see it all play out,
Until you are at the head of the line.

    Very thought provoking Timothy, and it feels like the natural order of things, but people only grieve people that have been loved. I hope we see more of you here :-) x

    As Mark says, the rhyming is well done but it was the content that stood out for me. Sad but all so very true.

    Take care,

    Enjoyed this Timothy, like how you made the rhyme seem unforced.
