The Rain in Hong Kong

by Anna Banasiak   Mar 18, 2018

I listen to the rain in Hong Kong
birds sing longing melody
the streets are full of mystical light
I contemplate the Man Mo Temple
recite the poetry of Su Shi

I listen to the rain in Hong Kong
the voices of the SoHo District
merge with the echo of the saint texts
I taste the sounds of the eternal Hong Kong
and my heart is filled with happiness
