Rescued Heart

by Marifel Rubi   Mar 19, 2018

You uttered words, smiles upon
Performing what one says will be done,
For together we kept on holding on
Tomorrow may our chords ne'er gone.

Once upon a time, my heart fortress,
Firm as rock, jailed in messiness
In the fullness of time I'm reckless
Yet you came and defeated fears.

Knackered in denying, feeling unknown
Affrighted to fall hard floor when down
Concealing solicitous deed, further imprison
Contravened to one's heart drown.

Upon my word, wimpy as far as love
Howbeit we crossed our paths and nabbed
Cherishing, expressing both feelings we have
Shall not ever be fade nor reave.
