The Passive Aggressive's War

by CJ Maleney   Mar 27, 2018

Battle lines have been drawn,
And forces now amass.
The battle now inevitable,
For the die have now been cast.

Alliances have been made and broken,
Now all must pay a cost.
Through actions or omissions
How much will be lost?

Pawns manipulated into position,
Whilst the true aggressors hide behind.
Foot soldiers first into the fray
And to the consequences blind.

Whispered words implanted
Into a mindless empty head.
The friendship that you once held,
Now completely lost or dead.

      Hey up Bren

This one is apt on so many levels it's unbelievable.

I've had so many confrontations of late. Especially work wise,

      Nice to hear from you

A reality which is all so true and never will it change.

For some reason I also feel there is more to what the
title suggests here...maybe I'm wrong but its just my feeling.
    Take care...

You're correct, as you often are

Things such as this generally require a catalyst of some sort

All so very true fella, sad and unnecessary.
A piece that is written well reflecting the job that is done for no great results
