pigments //// recovery (rough draft)

by pmmurphy   Mar 29, 2018

you gave me color
back when gray had no meaning,
I learned what its like
to hold hands with dark red ink blots
and fingerprint our names across the sky.
however, you forget to look up now
you cannot read anything,
it seems the weights of the world
are bringing you down.
& there is only so little time.
even though your world is now
a dark gray hue,
sometimes black.
i love and remember you
for the red scorching love
you always use to be about.
