A Little

by C Cattaway   Mar 30, 2018

A little too early.
A little too light.
A little too yearning.
A little less bite.
A little smile, creeping.
A little too long
In a little gaze,
Wondering if she'll belong.
A little more hopeful.
A little wild glimpse
Of little lost pixies,
Or spritely small imps.
A little, but little
Is always a start,
When little by little,
He unbreaks her heart.

This made me smile, and I love the lightness and flow on which it read!
