Picture of Perfection

by Yan   Apr 4, 2018

Your picture of perfection,
Is not a true reflection,
No representation, only self resent,

Wishing your mind could repent,
From the pain it has sent.

You do not diverse, those disturbing words,
Instead I wish you could see inside my head.

On this single sofa I sit, I sleep,
No more tears the truths been said.

I love you, I love you,
You know this is true,
I can not wait another second, until I can tell you.

Wow what a brilliant poem ;-) I love the title and the first two lines, they rhyme well
and covey a common truth. And of course the ending is beautiful - Heartfelt words of love x
