You know what I think of this, Tony. Well done indeed.
My guess is there will be a barrage of first class rondeaus posted this week, and for that, we are all indebted to Hellon and the others on that thread who have helped like Michael.

Take care and all the best,

    Ben

Thanks Ben. I can't wait to see yours posted as well. It is phenomenal. It was a very informative and helpful thread. What I loved most was that members were coming together and helping eachother, critiquing honestly and constructively.

I can really, truly appreciate this form now that I've tried it, and Tony, this is achingly sad but beautifully written. :-) x

Thanks Kit-Cat, can't wait to see yours posted. I don't know what it is about this form... it just takes me to a dark place. I've been working on a few others offline.

Thanks to Hellon for writing one and most of us have our own rondeau in our poetry collection. I will try this form of poetry for sure but right now I can only say that you chose a unique theme Tony and you expressed those emotions very well too.

Thanks SG, it's not something I think I'll ever get over. Writing helps me put it behind me at least.

Tony...I'm so glad you stuck with the form and produced such a wonderful Rondeau in the end. It is a very sad subject obviously and your emotions could have made you just chuck the towel in but you didn't and that says a lot in my book. Well done...

Judging Comment - Mother... Why? (Rondeau) by Tony points 4 - All I can say about this is that it really hit him to me how some of us don't get along with our parents and though there will be different reasons why it no doubt hurts all the same and this was relatable and extremely beautifully done even if extremely saddening
