A Tree in the Wind

by Maple Tree   Apr 10, 2018

Upon a summer crossing
I lay my weary head to rest,
until the lazy dawn arises.

Morning glories hush with innocence
as bluebirds sing her whispers,
a lonely gathering of daisies weep;

and she will fly amongst the trees
for an angel speaks to dying limbs,
upon a broken bough of sorrow.

silence has never been more beautiful.
