Rebirths in Spring

by Mark   Apr 11, 2018

Dormant buds
await fluxing snow;
floret dreams, hibernating
brisk fallout, hazing.

Rejuvenating crisp splendour,
baptismal Terra grazing
auroral fields, softening
Springtide beginnings.

Sprouts perforate mire
in synergistic pilgrimage,
budding bambino's fissuring
pulsing vigour of Gaia.

Snowdrops, ardent greeter
respectfully in homage;
bells bowed, mirroring hue
to fluidized sleet.

Daffodil coronas unfurl
pastel petals splay
aspiring to Sol
flaring winters' veil.

Enduring willows rewarded
potency flows twig maze
spectres of greenery
lush upon pastures.

Spanning platforms
ideal, melodious chirping
mating flute's entreating
rejuvenating transcendence.

Vernal esprit
infuse alike in us
fertile the pining childless
seed that they may grow.
