IS THIS THE “AGE” OF ANXIETY?

Every day when listening to the Daily News, it doesn't matter what method you use, Radio, TV, iPhone, or the backyard gossip you choose. All you hear is the bad news, a constant drumbeat from Hell, some causing hearts to fail as well, sometimes Life can smell.
Woe is me, I’m even afraid to go see a Movie. I remember as a young boy I had no fear, Mom left the doors unlocked, we played until dark, never looking at a clock. Our little tree filled Island was far from the big City with it’s Jungle of concrete, when the news of a stabbing was heard, the whole Island was shocked!

As I muse today, decades later, I think; what happened to that quiet peaceful World I knew? It is spinning askew, an incredible surge of knowledge but without much wisdom, and the ever longing of Souls for what’s new.

From proven past History we learn that contrary to popular belief, mankind was more intelligent than today's modern man, their structures still stand as mysteries upon the land. Yes, we are living in a World of Anxiety, why, our Brains are like computers, too much trash uploaded may cause a big crash.

The ancient King Solomon learned the solution after engrossing himself with much wine, women and song, that didn’t last for long. He discovered that he was created to enjoy simplicity, sitting at a table surrounded by family and friends, enjoying a great meal, upon this, God has put his Seal.

What I see is a trend away from old values, where neighbor helped neighbor, putting others first. The love of self, is an unquenching thirst, it can bring an unbalanced love of things, fancy cars, long days at the Bars, big diamond rings. Ego and Pride love to ride together as birds of a feather. May I suggest a Bible Psalm for anyone seeking to find comfort for the Soul and mind, it is given to us because God is kind. Psalm 19: 7 to 11

Yes we are living in a world of anxiety and its no more like
the olden days. You have to be vigilant of the people living next door,
the post man etc. If you decide to go out whether we will come back in
one piece is another doubt. Life has changed and so has cirumstances
and you have delivered that fear and doubts of each person in this write.
