    Tears

These fall like cherry blossom around our children's feet. May they build an eternal pillow for them to rest upon.

    Goodnight x

Wow. I read the poem, & felt all sorts of emotions, & then read Mr Darcy's comment, & now I cry!
Evocative. Heartfelt. Angry. Loving. Frustrated. Upset. So many more. I felt it all with you.
    Much love, Catherine x

Dear Andrea, not just your daughter, but you too is stronger than sorrow. These poems that you are writing for her, letting her know how much her momma loves her has made her stronger than sorrow. You are her strength, you are the reason she is speaking such motivational words in melancholic times.

I have written three poems for Robyn, but after the third one I almost broke. I had no strength left in me to portray the emotions of a daughter who sees her mother is crying every day, seeing her daughter going through all the sufferings and feels hopeless.
Or to portray the emotions of a mother who is just counting days and wants to count them as long as she could. A mother who wants to greet the sun and witness the entrance of the moon as far as possible. A mother who wants to fill the canvas of poetry with her emotions and to read them to her daughter as a lullabies for eternity.
With time all of us quit, but you did not because you are stronger than sorrow.

Through this poem, You tried to tell us that you were writing in spirals and afraid that your writing would end in violent punctuation and explicit slang, but it didn't and the last stanza really formed a pleasing combination of hope. It balanced all the pain and frustration you portrayed in first few stanzas and brought harmony. The same harmony which all of us wants for your daughter Robyn who is 'much more stronger than sorrow' and she will always be, your heart knows it.

    ((hugs))

Andrea I have no words for this I'm broken just reading this so can only merely understand how you're feeling.. All I want to do is give you and Robyn the biggest hug just to make things better. If I had a magic wand I know where I'd be using it that's for sure..
Please take all my strength to help you both through and all my love xx

A very heart wrenching piece, Ms. Andi. Tears just started to fall and I feel your sorrow deeply. A powerful write carved from your situation... I know I will always remember the last lines.

Judging Comment - Stronger than Sorrow by Maple Tree points 10 - I have read this countless times and each time I find something more beautiful about it, something that moves me like I've never been moved before by a piece of poetry even more so knowing that this is real, no sugar coating it so to speak. I'll need another box of tissues soon though
