Broken wounds

by 14th   Apr 29, 2018

I was all about her (but she was all about her self)
I shared my passion, my wealth
My world, my dreams
You were my everything
1st priority, By all means
I loved you
I dreamed of us having a life together
Old together
Hugging close in the strongest weather
Raising a kid
Photo albums, looking back at all the shit
We did
I’ll never trust again
I thought, you was my girl
my best friend
My heart broke, shattered, Like glass
I wanted to wedding you
Not be with you (for some ass)
Real nigga shit, Thugs cry
when we get shot in the heart
From dark, close ya eyes imagine this
We kiss, to nightmares
A meteor broke my whole world apart
Now I question if gravity, in time
Could pull together all pieces?
(On everything believe this)

This is a good write. I am sorry if this happened to you. Nobody should play with another’s heart, or well being. So many people take for granted the one thing in front of them that makes them whole, or could make them whole.

It is also sad that we as humans have become so corrupt in our own minds that we cannot see the good, or the passion in life.

    Sorry, rambling here ^_^

But this was a good piece! Nice job!

great rhyme, rapping out pain and hope.

Perhaps substituting 'wedding' with 'wed' or indeed 'marry' may sound better?

    Nice work.
