Thinking of You

Why do I keep thinking of you,
The thought of it makes me feel so blue.
I asked you, to which you replied “no”,
Yet here I am thinking of you more and more.

Knowing you'll never be mine,
Why am I still trying.
To get you by my side,
While I'm here dying.

I know this thought seems easy to let go,
I only pretend, so my feelings don't show.
