Motherland

by Mark Rawlins   May 10, 2018

When mother land she needs me,
my mother land she feeds me,
and mother land she draws me
to her breast.
So mother land I work for you,
do everything you ask me to
to beat the other lands to
be the best.

But hush now!
Be tough now,
we'll hear your squeals later.
We'll stop now,
and search now ....
and save appeals for later.

My mother land protects me
'cause mother land respects me,
and mother land provides my
living wage.
For ever she'll support me,
and never will deport me ....
or mother land will hear and
feel my rage.

But hush now!
Be tough now,
we'll hear your squeals later.
We'll stop now,
and search now ....
and save appeals for later.

'Cause mother land she needs me ....
