The good, the bad, and the blade.

by Blank   May 22, 2018

Your eyes, dull and brown.
Looked upon me, giving me life. I had never seen beauty in such common colour.
Your smile, that flashed fire into my soul. Such beauty in a common expression.

But the words that came from your mouth, that twisted my head, pushing me to the ground. I never asked why.
I was too inlove with you to see the monster you really were.
You broke my heart and left me bruised.
You made me feel, oh, so used.

So I took your words, with each cut I endured.
Releasing my emotions in rivers of blood.
But sometimes I ask,
Are they real?
An endless cycle of you.
You make me feel so good.
You make me bleed so bad.
You're the blade.

Dark stuff indeed but well written throughout.
