I Had It In Me

The last month I have seen a major change in me.
I stopped focusing on others and got rid of all of the negativity.
I did not think I had it in me, I always cared about what others thought.
But, focusing on my relationship was what was best all along.

Our love has blossomed, we spend an hour in bed talking at night.
Our future, expectations, what we want from life.
Finally everything seems to be falling into place.
Every day is perfect, when I wake up and see his peaceful face.

I never knew I had what it takes, to leave all the drama behind.
But, it was better than allowing it to force me to leave my love behind.
False accusations, with no proof to show.
Guess some people will be happy, unable to have a life of their own.
