A moral (double etheree)

by Michael   Jun 7, 2018

Their
secret
came undone
like a shoe lace
tripping them over
both became tangled up
but only one was twisted
and although one escaped unscathed
one sadly left with the wounds of the fall
of course not the one who held the deceit
for it was the other left with scars
one now grazes in greener grass
the moral to this story
is that if the shoe fits
then one will maybe
learn for next time
and untie
the truth
first.

At times my tongue was getting tangled like your laces, but this story has a worthy moral, and so it was worth it!

Nicely written, Michael. I like this form. I like it for the visual aspect, but also, in its double form, it can split a story nicely in half.

    Nice work :)
