When I was born to shine.

Don't keep me
In your heart
So close

When I won't even give you the time.

Don't worry about me
If I need you
You'll know

But I'm sure were both better off,

If I just leave you alone.

    Sometimes two people are just not meant to be together and it is only when apart that they can be allowed to 'shine' again.
    * 'were better off' should be 'we're better off'.
