Through Summer Winds

by RustySoul   Jun 8, 2018

Summer winds, take forth my hugs
'n sweet kisses that's in the air,
And journey to the blessed place
Where lives my lovely maiden fair.

Steal a tinge of rosy hue
From crimson roses as you go;
From the best of all that's there
Never known to man before.

Snatch the scent that stirs the soul
As you travel swiftly by,
From the most fragrant of flowers
Ever grown under the sky.

Seize the forces of the seas,
That are as deep as her eyes,
For I have witnessed total calmness
And also the storms that, in them, rise.

Perchance you witness the moon at night
That smiles so brightly in the sky,
Capture its romantic silvery haze,
As you travel swiftly by.

Bestow upon her these cherished gifts,
For she may live in best of forms,
Unrivalled shall be her matchless grace
Solely possessing the chiefest charms.

    Hi.
I like the imagery here and the rhyme too.
Did you mean to skip the rhyme in stanza 2, 6?
