This is who I am

I act, think later
have given in to bad choices,
my nose is touching the ground.

I make feelings die
bring them back to life,
wounds pop open.

When I love
I give you my all.

I rely on my wings
they are not completely broken,
flying in circles will stop you from growing.

Nature gives me comfort
trees are my friend,
the ocean let's me dream.

I fear the darkness
my breathing gets heavy,
I like to see what's in front of me.

I have dealt with paranoia
see a dog sitting in the corner,
I do believe in Guardian Angels.

I am far from being perfect
I confess, sin over again,
God knows my heart.

I carry a spirit
many don't understand,
I am still human.

    That line has just made the chills covering my arms grow in intensity.

    This is an amazing write that has truly left your mark. None of us are perfect, and none of us ever will be. It is accepting ourselves for who we are-flaws, quirks, and everything inbetween-that makes us whole and unashamedly human. We are all perfectly imperfect, and that's okay :)
