Kissed by a rose

Did no one ever give you a flower?
The colour deep red like your blood
Where emotions run wild inside of you
And your heart almost feels it will flood

You can't get enough of its aroma
Your senses feel like they'll explode
Your heart is now beating much faster
Yet everything around you has slowed

Now you need to bring it much closer
So its petals just brush past your nose
And when you can't explain this feeling
Then you know you've been kissed by a rose
