The rivers keep flowing

by Dagmar Wilson   Jul 2, 2018

As a new day nears
my mind must prepare
I can't give in to yesterday's feelings,
no more trying to move mountains.
The rivers keep flowing.

A reflective piece that made me think of the times we need to rest and take a break. Sometimes we can't "overcome" everything we want to at the given moment. And the world keeps turning and we just have to ease our minds from all the chaos.

There's something comforting about that line: "The rivers keep flowing".

    Peace and love to you!

We can only take each day as it comes, Dagmar, and do our best without pushing ourselves beyond our limits.

    Take care

Oh dagmar... This could potentially have a few meanings one where you get up and face the world wearing a mask to cover the tears and one where the river keeps flowing because you have your family to keep pulling you through maybe I read too much into it though very deep all the same
