    Andrea,

Such a moving piece, with so much imagery within your heart.
Beautiful, and a nomination for sure.

Every bit of this had me on the edge of my seat with goosebumps all over! The first stanza immersed me in a daydream layered thick with nostalgia. Almost like the most surreal moment of de ja vue. I think that "sinners moon" really spoke to me.
But those second and third stanzas are what completely sold me. I could smell each distinct flower both separately and together. I suddenly had vines instead of veins. Rooted firmly by your words I felt the fireworks and the lightning and the stillness of snowfall.
And I absolutely loved the way you tied a sound directly to a smell. And then you wrapped it up with something I strongly relate to: longing for the past.
All in all this was a masterpiece from beginning to end. 12/10 for me:)

Stunning write Andrea :-) This line particularly resonated ... "remembers songs that smell like Mary Jane" ... I love how songs can evoke other senses to respond!
    Fantastic :-) x
