You

by Love   Jul 3, 2018

You are the shimmering stardust,
That hangs upon my hearts hopeful strings,
Releasing all that I used to be...

The pain.
The Sorrow.
And God...
The anguish.

And I swear,
If you just touch me in just the right way,
I will shatter apart at the seams.

For it is inside of you,
I think I can find...
All I want to be.

Are you strong enough to withstand,
The broken pieces inside of me?
Because, everything I want to become-
Will shine only as bright,
Within the deepest parts of you.

-Please, come find me.

    judging comment-

    Romantic revelations,
I admire the elegance of few words with a massive message
attached. This was beautiful and eye opening.

To gather your thoughts about a person who has touched your soul is breathtaking in any form,
in my opinion and Love crafted beauty this week!

I like the emotion in your writing, the familiar themes and questions. I also like the way you leave the poem. Almost an aside at the end. Nominated
