This is a very powerful piece, and it touches on various topics in my mind as well as the darkness it brings. In my mind while reading this poem, I see a precious person fighting a darkness within, perhaps an addiction/ skeleton in the closet that are trying to fight or overcome. To be able to face such darkness is truly a challenge in life, this poem touches that power and strength in a positive and loving way. Excellent!
