Icegleam reflects the
cherry blossom crown
under which I sit,
sword sheathed in souls,
armor breathing mist
from the falling snow.
I dwell on you
as my crimson flows
over the chilled memory
of fallen silk.

I wanted to come back to this piece because as an admirer of historical facts and events that society seems to have forgotten, I often find you writing about them ( such as your poem "Glencoe (Clachaig Inn).
So for the past few hours I have been google searching to read of such duo and found myself reading about an event that took place in 1845, which was quite tragic, I'm not sure if I located the exact event you wrote upon but in any event I wanted to tell you thank you for allowing me to travel in time.
    truly one of my favorites.

This is beautiful...the visuals are comforting and yet sorrowful..
