The book of life

by Ya----Na   Jul 25, 2018

Am I listening to your heartbeat
or is it a call from above?
I never hoped to love again;
your smile made me fall in love.

I was too much alone;
my journey had almost become doomed.
When I couldn't take it anymore,
God sent you to clean the wound.

My soul had been lost,
and I started to believe I was dead.
You have opened the door of happiness,
and released the evils inside of my head.

Just say once 'I love you'
there is nothing else I need.
From your eyes, the book of life,
I want to read.

    I like this concept of love. I often read and wrote typical love poems, but this one is unique. It gently leads the reader by the hand and like a lover allows the promise of enduring love to feel possible. This is the ultimate love book/ story.

    All the best.
