Chills (short poem)

by Matt Carroll   Jul 27, 2018

Under blanket of moonlight, the night lies ever still
All alone with naught but my thoughts and time to kill
Without you here in my arms, I just can't shake the chill
And if I haven't by now, I suppose I simply never will

That 'chill" of being without, lacking what the mind body and soul craves is expressed well here.
    Tale care.
