Love's Immortal

by RustySoul   Sep 3, 2018

You're the heart that beats in me
The happiness that fills my soul,
That which cannot be separated
A part of me that makes me whole.

Years will fleet and yet our love
Will always stand the test of time,
It'll forever be etched in words
Through this timeless rhyme.

Very sweet and the rhythm was great here Rusty! It's simple and beautiful as it is.

This reminds me of Shakespeare's 'sonnet 18' - once it's down in words, even death cannot erase the love.
    I enjoyed this one.
