What a sad return to the site this is, Kitty.
I suppose when we truly love someone, we have to do what's right by them, no matter the consequences.
In technical terms, I have probably never read a more fluently rhymed piece from you.

Take care and all the best as ever,

    Ben

Back with a signature, albeit a sad farewell. Rhymed sweetly though as ever. Hope you are well

Nice to see you back miss kitty...
I totally get this letting someone go because you don't want to bring them to your level so to speak but the thing is if they love you they'll understand completely. Xx

Miss Kitty! Hello and happy to see you on site. Lovely poem, rhyming is smooth. Sad though...the two of you can balance each other out. Hugs-

Dark skies rain with thunderous force
it's here where love must dwell, of course.
A love of light is pure and white,
but that won't keep you hot at night.
To scratch that spot one needs a flame,
a sweating thrashing soul to claim.

This is a beautiful if somewhat sad. Don't forget that the darkness sometimes needs a little light too.
