Don't ask where it came from I don't know! Probably something I was told as a child but I can't be sure.

I just found a scribbled bit of paper and went with it

I just had to nominate this because this description is just fascinating. I love thunderstorms and from a very young age I've always been amazed by them :) well done on this one

      Aw thanks Our Em.

I love em too. I've always been fascinated by them even as a kid. When others used to run in doors I used to get my big coat and stand in the rain watching em.

I think it must be both scarey and amazing to be a pilot flying through one.

I love his! It is a great representation of the thunder! I love the storms, they have so much beauty and power behind them, just like horses!

    Very good job on this!????

This is an amazing piece. Before I read the title I thought it was referring to a large group of bikers riding through town. "Starts of as a low rumble off in the distance. The sound of heavens horses approaching" and as the poem progressed I thought what great metaphors and such a different approach. Imagining the fear in her eyes being due to the thought of leaping onto a machine and joining them. Especially "Take my hand for we join the horses now" (which in my mind meant join the bikers now) Then I read the title and reread the poem and thought how great is this. I could see how the imagery related to the thunder. For me two entirely different interpretations came so easily to mind from one piece of writing. So double the experience. Loved it. Milly x

      Hey up Mills

I guess it could be interpreted both ways especially if you know a little about me, but no this occasion it's deffo about the storm.

I'm sure someone told me as a kid that it was gods horses running around the sky's. Or perhaps I dreamed of such at one point.

I do however think of horses when whenever I hear thunder though.

I really like this and yes thunder is like those wild horses running
wild! But somewhere along the line I got another image too..I like how
this write can go in any direction but I had a feeling it was about the storm/
    hurricane...excellent work!
