A NEW SELF

A NEW SELF

I suddenly realized that I didn’t like me, so I decided to put my old self on the shelf. A new me, I would be, I began to listen more than talk, people then asked me to accompany them for a walk.

I began to see those with so many needs, and I was there, for them to feed. I felt a gush of joy after hugging a little homeless boy. I wanted more, for sure, no longer a person like one in who’s face, you would shut the door!

I am walking on clouds of bliss, even the Sun gave me a kiss, I love my new self, I now am content, not seeking glory or wealth. Thoughts of my own needs have fled away, I am living a brand new day, the old me will stay of the shelf, I am new born, my good deeds, now, sound my horn.

Its nice to do something for others, help out and looks out
for them and there is always a joy in doing that and a feeling
of happiness which fills the heart...well done!
