Wonder
Why you affect me so much...
When I try to fly save you from my
Winter my mind gives up its choice as you
Whisper softly into my heart
With a tender call to “stay”,
Wrapped inside your warm eyes my
Withdrawn life has finally found its voice

followed by a single seven line stanza. The first
word in each line begins with the same letter as
the title.
