    I've never heard the term Scuttle butting but it immediately leaps out as being something significant. it grabbed my attention immediately. Then I saw that the layout of the poem is superb and is just as "different" as the title.

    The message is strong and unfortunately very true. People are always very quick to think the worst of others and love to gossip and for some reason there are actually people who thrive on making up rumours to stir the pot. I believe from experience it is due to various reasons from unbalanced minds, boredom, jealousy, a nasty disposition or to gain notoriety for allegedly discovering juicy bits of gossip.
