Hallelujah

by Hope   Oct 11, 2018

Hallelujah;
my castle in the middle of the sea-
a forlorn fireplace: tell me to stay....
let it be, just let it be me.....

an old soul left out in the cold,
a heart of gold to behold,
dims of shadows-sunlit sunlight,
once upon a time by All Hallows Eve,
stay, so I don't leave,
sugar cookies by the fireplace...

a heart in the ocean, so blue,
a campfire so red, lost in the motion.....,
for you, for you by the blue waves ahead...

dims of shadows, sunlit sunlight...
I see you all burn so bright,
tell me to stay, so I don't leave,
I saw as I bequeath, the price I pay,
it's all in my saving grace...-

what's the price you pay?
'cause I see no one, no one around,
"what goes up must come down," I say...

"amen; amen to Jesus Christ, we all burn so bright,
once more, once again, no crime, amen;
amen to Jesus Christ..."

my castle stranded in the sea;
let it be, just let it be me......

The last man standing,
the last man dancing,
I'm known and free,
I found the joy in me...

the cause of night is gold,
and it's all in the stars;
dancing down this reservoir...,
stranded inside of a memoir,
the cause of night, I behold.....

"amen; amen to Jesus Christ, we all burn so bright,
once more, once again, no crime, amen;
amen to Jesus Christ..."

the cause of crime is held in the sky..

my castle stranded in the sea.
