Never separated

I miss you in the purest form.
I miss seeing your eyes light up when you smile and;
Watching you walk with such confidence and grace beside me as we make our way to wherever we are going.
I miss the sound of your voice and the
way your laughter fills whichever room we are in;
And how when you smile at me the
whole world melts around me as I get lost in it-
Too busy captivated by the genuinity of
it to notice anything else that may be going on around us.
And I miss the warmth and comfort of your touch as I sit beside you or on
your lap;
The way your soul always seems to
melt with mine no matter how far apart we are.
But most of all I miss your love and the way you have always showed it without saying it:
Kissing my forehead and always making sure I’m emotionally okay.
I miss your energetic and positive presence in my life and-
My beautiful star boy it has been such
a long road this year but no matter
what life has thrown at us my heart has never left your hands,
And my soul has never separated from yours.
