Truth or Dare

by Samantha   Oct 24, 2018

I lie in bed, darkness all around.
Thinking of you, my thoughts running wild. Could it be? Could it be, I ask myself.

You lie in your bed, darkness all around. Thinking of me (him), your thoughts running wild. Could it be? Could it be, you ask yourself.

I hear voices, echoing confusion.
Whispers of your love, gentle and sincere. Could it be? Could it be, I ask myself.

You hear voices, echoing confusion,
Whispers of my (his) love, gentle and sincere. Could it be? Could it be, you ask yourself.

I toss and turn, anxiety building.
Yearning for your touch, please calm this feeling. Could it be? Could it be, I ask myself.

You toss and turn, anxiety building.
Yearning for my (his) touch, please calm this feeling. Could it be? Could it be you ask yourself.

We lie in bed, darkness all around.
We hear voices, echoing confusion.
We toss and turn, anxiety building.
We ask ourselves, could it be?

Could it be, that I am right?
